A RESUME THAT STANDS OUT
Brian is the only candidate in the race that brings real business and management experience to the table. Over the course of his career, Brian has served as the CEO of multi-million dollar insurance and software companies. He currently operates a restaurant management group and a real estate management firm and has also written two best-selling books on his businesses and life experience.
MANAGING YOUR TAX DOLLARS
The recent pandemic has affected us all, and government finances are no exception. At this critical juncture, we need real leadership to ensure Alpharetta’s long-term financial outlook remains strong, solvent, and sound. When elected, Brian will use his experience as an executive in the private sector to help make the best decisions for Alpharetta taxpayers. Brian supports maintaining the current millage rate and will prioritize needs over wants on future spending.
CONNECTING OUR CITY
Alpharetta has seen unprecedented growth in the past three decades, even more so in the last decade with the completion of Avalon and City Center. Now more than ever, Brian believes the focus should be on improving Alpharetta’s transportation network so Alpharetta can effectively absorb the previous growth. Brian is a proponent of completing the current TSPLOST projects and the 2016 transportation bond while finding ways to work with neighboring communities and regional entities to help cost-share on new projects.
RESPONSIBLE PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
It’s imperative Alpharetta maintains a policy of controlled, balanced growth and rejects the call for increased urbanization. We can count on Brian to maintain and uphold the citizen-created land use plan, which calls for balanced growth. Additionally, Brian will bring a balanced approach in revitalizing the North Point Mall corridor. Brian believes improving the corridor needs to be a measured and thoughtful approach focusing on single-family development, Class A office space, and infrastructure improvements, not more retail.
Brian resides in the Avalon community and is proud to call Alpharetta home. He currently serves as CEO for Will Restaurant Investment Group which operates nine restaurants, three of which are in Alpharetta, including Central City Tavern. Brian served honorably in the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard in Georgia. He is the proud father of two children, Michael and Stephanie.
